He was drafted after college by the NBA, where he played 14 seasons as guard for the Charlotte Hornets, Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors, and Toronto Raptors. He was active from 1988 to 2001. He was also one of the professional players who acted in the film Space Jam along with Michael Jordan.
