The Denali peak is not only the highest point in all of Alaska, but also on the continent of North America. With an altitude of 20,310 feet (6190 meters), Denali is the crowning peak of the Alaska Range, which stretches 600 miles in a long arc on the Alaska-Canada border. This mountain is so massive that it can be easily identified from space.
